"We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Nikki. My husband and I are both doctors living in NYC. We wanted a local planner to help us with our destination wedding in Lake Tahoe. Many planners in the area price by percentage of wedding cost, which we fundamentally disagree with because we think it immediately breeds distrust and misaligned incentives. Alternatively, Nikki has a flat fee price that is more than fair. We also loved her laid back vibe. From start to finish, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Wedding planning was quite challenging for us due to our work schedules. However, Nikki kept us on target and prioritized by most pressing tasks so that we weren’t overwhelmed.
During the wedding weekend, she really turned it on and fiercely ensured that everything went smoothly. If there were issues, we surely weren’t aware of them because she handled things in the background so that we could have a carefree experience. My mother-in-law also planned a pretty elaborate rehearsal dinner/welcome party and Nikki was extremely helpful in coordinating with her as well. I’m sure we flooded her home with all the packages and supplies that we sent her, but she was always gracious about it and didn’t make it seem like it was a hassle at all. Her answer to any of our asks was always “Yes, absolutely!” or that she would find a way to make it work for us.
