Our Story
A rarity in the region, Nikki Price is a Lake Tahoe native. Her dedication and love for the mountain lifestyle shines through in her approach to event planning. Growing up in the mountains makes her a true grace under fire, and her calm demeanor puts her clients at ease, whether they’re planning an elopement or a 300-person wedding.
A certified sommelier, Nikki’s love of the finer things is exemplified in everything from her wine selections to linens, lighting, and catering options. Her degree in behavioral psychology and minor in art combine perfectly to provide her clients with an understanding ear and scrutiny for artistic detail.
Prior to launching Mountain Thyme Events, Nikki was the Special Event and Catering Director at Martis Camp, dubbed “the best four-season private community in the U.S.” by Forbes. The position gave her rein to harness one of her greatest qualities—managing logistics for high-volume events.

While in the midst of planning, Nikki understands that each wedding should be as unique as the couple. Guest experience is held in the highest regard, and planning with her becomes just as fun as the event itself.
When she’s not planning stunning Lake Tahoe events, you can find Nikki on the trails with her family or straight-lining runs off Siberia Express at Palisades Tahoe.
